fan control module question.

I have a 2014 Pathfinder Platinum with a fan cooling control module problem. I ordered and received a replacement for it, but the plug configuration is odd compared to the original. the original has the large main plug on the drivers side of the unit( installed ), and the 2 smaller fans plug into the passenger side of the module. The replacement, has all plugs on the bottom, and the plug config is larger on the new module. The new module is a part # 21493 3JA0E.
Is there an adapter to use the fans with this new module, or do I have to splice in new plugs to fit it? Funny thing, the original large plug has a factory adapter that connects the main plug to the module. it doesn't fit the new module, but if i pull the adapter off, it does plug into the new module. weird!
Any ideas??
Thanks for any advice!

Sounds like a mid-year connector change. Verify the exact part by VIN otherwise you’ll likely need the updated harness.

Thanks for the reply.
I have done that. Even the dealer can't help.

Wierd.

I asked him what he would do if I brought it to his shop for repair, he said he would call corporate for further information. He would ONLY do that if I gave it to him for service. He won't help otherwise.

Nice service, eh?
