White paint on windshield scrubbed off

Guys, i was cleaning my daughter's pathfinder yesterday and scrubbed off something like a white strip of paint on both lower corners of the windshield thinking it was some marker someone randomly put, but soon it kinda hit me that it could be some type of sensor or what not considering technology nowadayss. any insight about this? Thank you.

Oh no, mate. It looks like you have accidentally scrubbed off a marking. But no, it's most likely not a sensor or something. If you're still worried yes you could upload a photo here so we could check, like wonderwall suggested. Otherwise, you can head over to your dealership and ask if this scraping affects a functionality in your PAthfinder.

Hi there don't panic. I don't think it's a sensor. Agree with @toastedbagel over here, it might be a marking but it could be important so I guess just double check what other Pathfinders have on photos online and if you can't figure it out from that, maybe that's the time to go to the dealer.

Have you checked if those white strips are actually your de-icers? I almost scrubbed mine off when I got my new car!! These manufacturers could've made those a bit more obvious SMH

Oops! Seems like those white strips on the windshield are likely part of the defogger system. . hopefully you didn't scrubbed it too much! be extra careful cleaning that area in the future.
