moonroof irritating sound

acquired myself a 2022 Pathfinder SL just days ago and i noteiced this weird annoying sound from the moonroof or sunroof whatever you call it lol it sounds like theres a bird stuck and its flapping its wings rapidly coz of the wind. also it only happens when its raining, tried to record the noise and sent it to the local dealership but all they keep saying is to check the roofing even though i keep saying its all clear. it also has this very distinct noise when water pours and its very unlikely compared to all the cars ive had. hoping to seek insights and avdvices here, thank you much!

Did you know me and some of my mates have experienced that same issue? We got our cars from different dealerships and seems like Nissan is aware this is a common problem. It happens when it's rainy and I cannot explain the sound but it's bothersome. Since the first time I got the car the sound is there but I never bothered to take it to the dealership because I did not normally get out when it's raining.

Got a '22 Pathfinder too. Mine makes a strange noise from the sunroof when it rains. it sounds like water is splashing in a weird way. I checked the roof and its clean. The dealer didnt help much either maybe its a design thing with the drains.

I got mine a while back and I remember it also had those weird little noises. I could imagine how it's frustrating for a new owner like you! Dealership should check that but if you're growing a bit impatient, you might want to try sealing the sunroof's rubber gasket with a silicone lubricant and then observe if it reduced the wind noise.
