If you're thinking about adding a compact air tank and compressor to the R53 Pathfinder, you'll probably find there's enough room behind the grille. Just be mindful of keeping everything clear of the radiator and sensors. Those components can get pretty warm, so it's crucial to ensure there's good vent to avoid any overheating issues.

Also, have you considered how you'll shield your gear from dirt and moisture? It's a good idea to think about that upfront. When it comes to routing the air lines, make sure they're tidy and that you can still reach everything easily for any maintenance work down the line.

By the way, do you have a particular size or brand of compressor in mind? Knowing that could really help in figuring out what will fit best and how you can mount it securely. It's all about making sure everything works smoothly together!

That's a pretty good place actually and I think it would be best to put it in a box, metal probably with vent holes. That way it won't overheat but it will remain protected. As for specific products, I have no idea, but I'd go for something that's compact and powerful that would fit and get the job done.

Protecting the gear from dirt and moisture is something a lot of people overlook until it becomes a problem, so good call thinking about that now, I'm curious, what compressor size or brand are you leaning toward? @N4viPathfind3r that can make a big difference in how and where you mount everything

Mounting a compressor behind the grille is asking for trouble. Heat, road grime, and moisture will destroy it faster than you think, so just because it fits there doesn't mean it's a smart location.
