The one thing that drives me nuts with the '23 Pathfinder

The 2023 Pathfinder is a great SUV, but there's one feature I can't stand: the driver assist beeping. Even with every system turned off, it still beeps like crazy when pulling in or backing out of the garage, if I could fully disable those alerts, I would....next time, I'll make sure the vehicle lets me turn everything off.

Totally get the frustration. Even with most systems off, the Pathfinder's sonar and rear emergency braking still chime in when you're pulling into tight spots. There's a button near the shifter with a "P" and wave icon that mutes the beeping for that drive but it resets after each restart. Have you checked the settings menu to see if you can lower the sensitivity or toggle off rear seat reminders too?

If your car beeps more than a microwave, something's wrong. The 2023 Pathfinder's driver assist is like a backseat driver who never shuts up even when you turn everything off....come on Pathfinder! 😄

Yeah, I tried that button, it helps for a bit, but like you said, it resets every time. I'll dig through the settings again to see what else I can tweak

Exactly! It's like I'm being babysat by my own car. I get safety features are important, but let me drive in peace especially in my own garage

Annoying the sonar setting doesn't stick between drives. I believe Nissan programs it to default to on for safety rating purposes on every startup. You could ask your dealer's service department if any software updates or technical service bulletins exist for the sonar control module. Sometimes a manufacturer will release an update to adjust an overly sensitive system. Have you also confirmed in the main settings menu if the separate rear seat alert is disabled?
