Windshield repair

Got a small chip on the windshield of my '22 pathfinder and figured I'd get ahead of it before it spreads, I've never had to deal with glass repair on this one before but I booked a mobile guy and he had it filled in under 30 minutes. You can still see a faint mark, but way better than letting it spider out. If anyone's putting it off, don't, these newer windshields aren't cheap to replace, especially with sensors tucked in behind the glass.

Ive dealt with similar issues before, and I know recalibration can be a pain. For small chips, DIY kits like CrackEraser.com can do the trick. Agree It's smart to fix it early. Did your tech mention anything about sensor recalibration, or was it just a simple fill?

Yeahhhh, too real calibration costs can sneak up on you fast, my mum had hers filed last 2 years and the mark is still standing strong on it

Quick fill is way cheaper than full replacement, especially with all the tech baked into these newer windshields, totally agree

Those little chips can turn into big headaches fast. Did the repair guy mention if recalibration was needed, or was it far enough from the sensors?
